Sound Transition is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to empowering girls through the sport of basketball. Our mission is to provide opportunities for girls to develop their basketball skills, foster teamwork, and build confidence both on and off the court. We strive to create a supportive environment that promotes athletic excellence, academic achievement, and personal growth.
About Us
Sound Transition Hoops offers a comprehensive basketball program for elementary and middle school-aged girls. As an Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) affiliated program, we compete at various levels, from local tournaments to national championships. Our coaching staff comprises experienced and dedicated volunteers who are committed to the development of each athlete.
Programs and Services
Skill Development Clinics: Regular training sessions focused on improving fundamental basketball skills, including shooting, dribbling, passing, and defense.
Team Practices and Competitions: Organized team practices and participation in AAU-sanctioned tournaments and leagues.
Mentorship and Leadership Training: Programs designed to build leadership qualities and provide mentorship opportunities for young athletes.
Our Impact
Sound Transition Hoops has positively impacted the lives of many young girls in the Seattle area by providing them with the tools and support needed to succeed in basketball and life. Our alumni have gone on to play at Division 1 collegiate levels, receive scholarships, and become leaders in their communities.
